First Love is one of the easiest dolls to restring. You just need the parts and pieces to do it. First Love has very soft plastic inserts in her arms and legs: the soft inserts tend to get brittle with age. Also, the large rubber elastic stretches after all these years, so it's unfortunate that these lovely 1970's babydolls are as floppy as a ragdoll by this time.
These kits make it very easy to restring your First Love so her joints are snug again and she holds poses without a problem!
The kit includes five hook pieces for the head and limbs, as well as enough heavy duty cord to string the doll.
You will also need some hemostats (or needle-nose pliers) plus scissors and some good craft glue such as Elmers (not School glue.)
DOLLS AND TOOLS ARE NOT PROVIDED. KIT INCLUDES 5 HOOKS and ELASTIC CORD.
