Today began like every other day for Baby Face Families - getting washed and dressed for an adventure.

Our adventure today was visiting the Mary Poppins statue. The lady that wrote this story was born in the building behind her statue.

After our adventure we all watched
"Mary Poppins" on DVD.

The lady that wrote this story was born Helen Lynton Goff, and was born on 9th August, 1899. She grew up to become Pamela Lyndon Travers, the author of Mary Poppins.
