Metric Sewing Gauge

This handy little sewing gauge is essential for seamstresses and dollmakers. I've had mine since 1973 and I keep it on my desk, at hand, always. I have several by my sewing machine as well. This gauge has inches on one side, metric on the other, and a little slider that helps you pinpoint the exact measurement of small items.

Anyone who makes dolls or collects dolls, needs a gauge like this for measuring eyes and doll shoes! Doll supplies are frequently sold in metric measurements because millimeters are more precise for tiny parts and pieces.

The metric gauge comes with this little sewing kit, which includes a seam ripper and needle threaders. The gauge on the metric ruler is clearly marked, it's just not showing up in the photo very well because of the plastic packaging.
